The Type 795 training ship Zheng He (hull No.81), also known as Daxin class by NATO, was the PLA Navy’s first purpose-built training ship. The vessel was launched in April 1987 at the Shanghai-based Qiuxin Shipyard and has been operated by the Dalian Ship Academy of the PLA Navy for the training of navy officer cadets. The vessel has made extensive long-distance cruises, including a good will visit to Hawaii in April 1989, a good will visit to Thailand in December 1990, and the operation to transport PRC’s UN peacekeepers to Cambodia in 1991.

795型训练舰“郑和”号（弦号 81），也即是北约代号大兴级，是PLA海军第一膄多用途训练舰。1987年4月在上海求新造船厂下水并且已经被PLA海军大连舰艇学院操作用于海军军官学员的训练。舰艇已进行了大规模长途巡航，包括在1989年4月到夏威夷访问，在1990年12月到泰国访问，在1991年进行运送中国联合国维和士兵到柬埔寨行动。

Designed specifically for long-distance voyage, Zheng He can cruise across half of the globe without requiring refuelling. The vessel has been fitted with weapon systems, air/surface radar, classrooms,  living and medical facilities and can support over 40 training subjects in navigation, observation, communications, electromechanics, and medical.

设计明确用于长途航行，“郑和”号能不需要补给巡航穿越半个地球。舰上已经配备武器系统、对空/表面雷达、教室、生活和医疗设备而且能支持超过40项航海、观通、通信、机电和医疗等训练课目。

Weapons

The vessel is armed with a Type 66 dual-57mm/70-calibre manual AAA gun, which can fire 2.80kg shells at a firing rate of 70 rounds/minute, to a maximum range of 5km against airborne target and 6km against surface target.

武器

舰上装备66型双联57毫米/70倍口径手动AAA炮，能以70发/分钟射速发射2.80公斤炮弹，最大射程对抗空中目标5公里和对抗水面目标6公里。

There are two Type 69 dual-30mm AAA guns (copy of the Soviet AK-230), with a firing rate of 360~400 rounds/minute and a maximum range of 4,000m against airborne targets. The AAA guns use radar and semi-automatic optical control.

有二座69型双联30毫米AAA炮（仿造苏联AK-230），具有360~400发/分钟的射速和对空目标最大射程4,000米。AAA炮采用雷达和半自动光学控制。

Two Type 81 six-barrel 240mm anti-submarine rocket launchers are installed on the bow deck. The rocket has a maximum range of 1,200m, and is armed with a 34kg warhead.

在艏甲板上安装二座81型六管240毫米反潜火箭发射器。火箭最大射程1,200米，装备34公斤弹头。

Sensors

The vessel has a Type 360S air/surface search radar operating at E/F-band, and an EH-5 hull-mounted search sonar.

Aviation

The vessel has a helicopter flight deck at stern to support a Z-8-size medium helicopter, with no hanger provided.

1、《“郑和”号远洋航海训练舰》

“郑和”号，我国第一艘远洋航海训练舰，1987年4月在上海求新造船厂下水交付海军，划规大连舰艇学院管辖。1989年4月和1990年12月分别访问了美国夏威夷和泰国。可单舰环球半圈无须加油。舰上设有卫星导航仪和GPS全球定位系统等先进设备，以及全自动火炮、火箭深弹发射器等武器装备，教学、通信、机电、生活、医疗设施齐全，仅大型海图室就有三个，并设教学指挥中心和教学彩色电视闭路系统。在这艘舰上，学员可同时进行航海、观通、机电、武器、船艺、医疗等40多科目的实习训练。
