New weapon system will give Pak Army capability of precision target engagement into enemy territory

Pakistan successfully conducted a test flight of indigenously developed Fatah-1, Guided Multi Launch Rocket System, on Thursday, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Babar Iftikhar.

军方间公共关系（ISPR）总干事巴巴尔·伊蒂克哈尔少将说，巴基斯坦于周四成功地进行了本国开发的法塔赫-1型制导多管火箭系统的试射。

 

Announcing the news on Twitter, the DG ISPR maintained that the weapon system is capable of delivering a conventional warhead upto a range of 140 kilometres.

ISPR DG在Twitter上宣布了这一消息，坚持认为该武器系统能够配备常规弹头，最大射程可达140公里。

 

General Iftikhar added that it will give the Pakistan Army the capability of precision target engagement deep into enemy territory.

伊蒂克哈尔将军补充说，这将使巴基斯坦陆军有能力精确打击目标，深入敌军领土。

 

President Dr Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa congratulated the participating troops and scientists on the success of the test flight.

总统阿里夫·阿尔维（Arif Alvi）博士，总理伊姆兰·汗（Imran Khan），参谋长联席会议主席和陆军参谋长卡马尔·贾维德·巴杰瓦（Qamar Javed Bajwa）祝贺参加试射的部队和科学家取得成功。

 

On December 30, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) marked a major progress in its national air defense arsenal as it announced beginning the production of the state-of-the-art JF-17 Thunder Block 3 fighter jets, while also acquiring 14 dual-seat JF-17 aircraft.

12月30日，巴基斯坦空军(PAF)宣布开始生产最先进的JF-17“雷电”（Thunder）Block3型战斗机，同时还购买了14架双座JF-17飞机，标志着其国家防空武库取得了重大进展。

 

According to reports, the JF-17 Thunder Block 3 of the PAF will be operational with a new radar ,and will be better than the Raphael aircraft acquired by India.

据报道，PAF的JF-17“雷电”Block3型将使用一种新的雷达运行，并将比印度购买的“阵风”（ Raphael ）战机更好。

 

At the same time, 14 dual-seat aircraf, manufactured with Pak-China cooperation were also handed over to the PAF. These will also be used for trainings.

Speaking during the induction ceremony, Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong said that China congratulates Pakistan for the 17th Block-II Dual Seat joining its air defense fleet.
