The JZ-6 features a retractable reconnaissance bay mounted inside the fuselage aft the nose wheel bay. JZ-6以一个安装在机身内前轮隔舱后面的可缩回侦察舱为特色。(侦察舱在地面呈降下状态)

The JZ-6 (Jianji Zhencha-6 or JianZhen-6) is the tactical reconnaissance variant of the J-6 (MiG-19 Farmer) fighter, equivalent to the MiG-19R of the Soviet Air Force. The aircraft carries optical and infrared cameras to perform imagery reconnaissance role in day/night conditions. Early variants of the JZ-6 were converted from existing J-6 airframes, while later variants were dedicated reconnaissance aircraft based on the J-6 design.

JZ-6(歼击 侦察-6或歼侦-6)是J-6(米格-19“农夫”)战斗机的战术侦察改型,类似的是苏联空军的米格-19R。飞机携带光学和红外照相机在昼/夜条件下执行图像侦察任务。JZ-6的早期改型从已有的J-6机身改装,稍后型号是基于J-6设计的专用侦察机。

Programme

In response to the PLA’s demand for a tactical reconnaissance aircraft, Shenyang Aircraft Factory (now Shenyang Aircraft Corporation) converted some J-6 fighters into the reconnaissance aircraft in 1967. These J-6s had their fuselage cannons removed and replaced by a camera compartment for low- to medium-altitude day/night reconnaissance role.

In 1971, Shenyang introduced the second reconnaissance variant J-6 for high-altitude day reconnaissance mission. In 1975, Shenyang introduced a third variant for both high- and low- to medium-altitude reconnaissance missions. Both of these variants were converted from existing J-6 airframes.

在1971年,沈阳为高空昼间侦察任务推出了第二种侦察改型J-6。在1975年,沈阳公司推出了第三种改型用于高空和低空到中空两者侦察任务。这两种改型是从已有的J-6机身改装。

In January 1976, Shenyang began to develop a dedicated reconnaissance aircraft JZ-6 based on the J-6 design. Generally based on the design of the third reconnaissance variant introduced in 1975, the JZ-6 was certified for design finalisation in December 1976.

在1976年1月,沈阳公司开始发展基于J-6设计的专用侦察飞机JZ-6。通常基于在1975年推出的第三种侦察改型的设计,JZ-6在1976年12月进行设计定型鉴定。

The JZ-6 features a retractable reconnaissance bay mounted inside the fuselage aft the nose wheel bay. The reconnaissance bay is lowed during imagery reconnaissance mission and retracted into the fuselage during high-speed flight.

JZ-6以一个安装在机身内前轮隔舱后面的可缩回侦察舱为特色。侦察舱在图像侦察任务时降下而在高速飞行期间缩回进机身之内。

By the late 1990s, although most J-6s in the PLA had stopped flying, there were still four independent reconnaissance regiments in the PLAAF equipped with JZ-6s. No JZ-6 activities have been  reported since 2005, suggesting the aircraft may have finally retired from active service.

在1990年后期,虽然在PLA中的大多数J-6已经停飞,在PLAAF内仍然有装备JZ-6的四个独立侦察团。从2005年以后没有JZ-6的活动,飞机可能从现役已经全部退役。

Armament

The JZ-6 has its fuselage cannon removed, but retained the two Type 30-I 30mm cannons mounted in the wingroots. Each gun has 60 rounds.

补充资料:

1、《歼侦-6》

歼侦-6属于战术侦察机,用于对浅近纵深、宽大正面目标进行照相侦察,获取战役战术情报。

中国空军侦察航空兵当时多采用现役飞机改装的方式获得侦察平台。在1953年前主要使用拉-11,1954~1955年更新为米格-15,1956年后增加了伊尔-28P。歼-6服役后,以其高速度成为改装侦察机的首选。

沈阳飞机厂改装出的第一批歼侦-6(中低空昼夜侦察型)于1967年7月并装备部队。根据部队要求,沈阳飞机厂继续改装歼侦-6高空昼间侦察型。该型机1971年4月2日由刘建凡操纵完成首飞,后装备部队。1975年,歼侦-6高/中低空两用侦察型试飞成功并装备部队。(有资料称,上述3型改装机仍称歼-6——笔者注)

1976年1月,沈阳飞机厂按照上级指示开始研制全新的歼侦-6,而不是利用歼-6机体作改装。新的歼侦-6机体结构、系统设备原则上采用两用侦察型方案。1976年12月歼侦-6设计定型。

歼侦-6的主要特点是:保留歼-6的基本设计,但在机腹下增加侦察设备舱(凸出机身外),以安装航空侦察相机;2门翼根航炮保留,但拆除机身左下那门航炮。
