Chinese state-owned television has released footage showing that the People’s Liberation Army Ground Force (PLAGF) is either testing or already operating the ZC300 vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) made by local company ZC Aviation.
中国官方电视台发布的录像显示,中国人民解放军陆军部队(PLAGF)正在测试或已经在使用由国内公司山东中创航空科技有限公司(ZC Aviation)制造的ZC300型垂直起降(VTOL)无人机(UAV)。

In a 23 September news report the China Central Television 7 (CCTV 7) channel showed the tandem-rotor UAV being used to deliver medical supplies and ammunition to PLAGF troops as part of an exercise organised by the Guilin Joint Logistic Support Centre in southern China that took place at an altitude of 2,000 m above sea level.
在9月23日的中央电视台第七频道新闻报道中,作为中国南方桂林联勤保障中心组织的演习的一部分,串列旋翼无人机 在海拔2,000米的高度用于向中国人民解放军陆军(PLAGF)部队运送医疗物资和弹药。
 
The UAV, which is shown in the footage carrying the supplies in a box attached to its underbelly, is not seen landing at the site but rather dropping the supplies over a designated area.

The ZC300, which was developed in co-operation with the Hainan Tropical Ocean University, was featured in a 13 January article published by the state-owned People’s Daily newspaper.

The paper reported at the time that the UAV could be used for “oceanic observation research” as it can be equipped with a light detection and ranging (LIDAR) system or a multi-aperture radar: an indication that this is a multirole platform. It also stated that the rotorcraft can carry a 150 kg payload, has an endurance of 3 h, and can fly at speeds of 100 km/h.
当时的论文报道说,无人机可以配备光检测和测距(LIDAR)系统或多孔径雷达,因此可以用于“海洋观测研究”:这表明这是一种多用途平台。该文章还指出,旋翼飞机可以携带150公斤有效载荷,续航力为3小时,并且可以100公里/小时的速度飞行。
