Nimrod is an anti-tank and anti-personnel laser homing missile of 26 km range and pinpoint accuracy. It is easily installed on a variety of ground platforms and helicopters. On land, it provides standoff strike capability against ground point targets such as tanks, APCs, bunkers, personnel concentrations and guerrillas. A forward scouting team uses a laser designator to direct missiles that are fired from a base up to 26 km behind.
